We’ll meet for either one session per week or two sessions per week.
Each session is 45 minutes in length.

I mostly work with people on a long term basis, which typically means at least 6 months. People often start feeling relief earlier.
While everyone is different, I do believe lasting, meaningful change takes time and occurs incrementally.

It's entirely normal to feel uncertain about beginning therapy. Our initial consultation offers an opportunity for us to discuss what you're looking for, answer questions, and determine whether working together feels like a good fit for you.

My fee is $250 per session.
I reserve a limited number of sliding-scale and low-fee slots in my practice for those who qualify.
Alternatively, I can offer lower cost referrals based on your specific needs.

No, I do not accept insurance. I am an out-of-network provider.
I can provide you with a receipt called a ‘superbill’ to submit to your insurance as a claim towards any out-of-network benefits for mental health treatment that you may have. Check with your health insurance provider to see if your plan offers reimbursement for out-of-network psychologists.

I have a 24 hour cancellation policy, which means that you won’t be charged for your session if you reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time.
Cancellations made under 24 hours in advance will be charged the full fee.
Please note, insurance companies do not accept claims for missed or late-cancelled appointments.

Yes, I am primarily practicing in person, in Pasadena CA, at 117 E Colorado Blvd.
Virtual or hybrid therapy is also OK if preferred or needed, as long as you live in California.

Street parking in the immediate area is metered.
The 'Schoolhouse Garage' parking structure on Green St, between Fair Oaks Ave and Raymond Ave, offers 2 hours for $1.
There are many other lots in the vicinity with varying rates.

No, I only work with individuals aged 18+.

As a psychologist, I cannot prescribe or manage medication, but I coordinate your care with a psychiatrist or NP.
In certain circumstances, I believe psychiatric medications can be helpful and/or essential for treatment to be successful.
