My Practice

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California (PSY 36703), focusing on long term psychotherapy for adults.

It is my belief that therapy works best when it feels supportive and collaborative. My priority is for you to feel heard and understood. I strive to be authentic, empathic, and genuine, while making sure the therapeutic process feels like teamwork. Above all, I aim to develop trust and safety while ensuring that we are working in your best interests.

I have been trained in evidence-based relational, interpersonal, and psychodynamic therapy modalities. This means we will focus on the impact of your past experiences and the quality of your relationships, as well as your emotional functioning. By identifying maladaptive patterns, working through difficult conflicts, and processing intense feelings, we will strive to decrease distress and suffering, increase personal fulfillment, and consider how your relationships can be more productive and enriching. I also integrate third-wave cognitive-behavioral interventions where appropriate, so you can feel equipped with a set of tools tailored specifically for you.

Overall, it is my hope for you to feel more in control of your life through getting to know yourself, feeling better understood by others, and considering how your hopes for the future can be brought into reach.
