My Practice

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California (PSY 36703), focusing on long term psychotherapy for adults.

When we begin working together, my first priority is for you to feel heard and respected. I approach therapy with sincerity, curiosity, and an open mind, so that our process can resemble active teamwork rather than just listening. Trust and safety are fundamental here, and we’ll remain closely aligned on your goals and needs throughout our work together.

My approach is primarily psychodynamic and relational, which means paying attention to the impact of your past experiences and the quality of your relationships. We’ll identify some of your core patterns, consider what’s keeping them in place, and explore more fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and others. In other words, we'll get to know who you are and who you want to be, as we work toward authentic and meaningful change.

When helpful, I often integrate cognitive-behavioral interventions too, so you can feel equipped with a set of tools and exercises tailored specifically to your concerns.

Overall, it is my hope for you to feel more in control of your life by getting to know yourself, becoming better understood by others, and building a life that feels like it’s truly yours.
